Frequently asked questions

What is TCU Gives Day?

This year we are celebrating our 9th annual TCU Gives Day, our 24-hour fundraising challenge in support of TCU's people and programs that is part of Lead On: A Campaign for TCU, the most ambitious fundraising campaign in TCU's 150-year history.

When is TCU Gives Day?

Noon, Oct. 25, to noon, Oct. 26, 2022. However, you can give early at tcugivesday.tcu.edu or you may email Loyalty Giving directly about your gift.

What is the purpose of TCU Gives Day?

The success of the university depends on the support of everyone connected to TCU, those who want to see it achieve its goals and impact the greater good. TCU Gives Day is 24 hours of Horned Frogs spreading the word, giving what we can, and mobilizing to change our university – and the world around us – for the better.

If I make my gift before TCU Gives Day, can it still be counted?

Gifts made Oct. 1, 2022, or later do count towards our TCU Gives Day goal. We would love for you to follow our progress on TCU Gives Day. You can also share the importance of giving back to TCU with others by signing up to be a TCU Ambassador at tcugivesday.tcu.edu/ambassador

If I already made a gift to TCU this year, will it count toward the TCU Gives Day goal?

Thank you for your support! Gifts made earlier then October 1, 2022, do not count towards our TCU Gives Day goal. We greatly appreciate your generosity and would love for you to follow our progress on TCU Gives Day. You can also share the importance of giving back to TCU by signing up to be a TCU Ambassador at tcugivesday.tcu.edu/ambassador.

I have a current pledge with TCU. If I make my pledge payment on TCU Gives Day, will it count?

Thank you for your commitment to TCU! Yes, if you make your pledge payment on TCU Gives Day, you will be counted towards our 2,000 donor goal.

Where does my gift go?

You can designate your gift to any area of TCU that is meaningful for you.

What are challenges?

You may see a challenge gift in certain areas and if the goal is hit in the challenge, the challenging donor will make their gift. You will see it is primarily geared toward the number of donors in a certain designation. You can also create a challenge of your own: For instance, you could give $200.00 if 200 donors give to AddRan
